Oscar-nominated actors Woody Harrelson and Laura Linney will take on the lead roles in the upcoming drama Suncoast. The project, which made the 2020 Black List, will mark the directorial debut of Laura Chinn, best known for creating the popular sitcom Florida Girls.

Facing competition from Teja Sajja and director Prasanth Varma’s sci-fi fantasy HanuMan, Dhanush’s Tamil feature Captain Miller, Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul Preet Singh’s Tamil offering Ayalaan, and the Tamil and Hindi film Merry Christmas starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, Guntur Kaaram managed to hold its ground. However, Tejas’ HanuMan emerged as a strong contender, giving neck-to-neck competition to the Mahesh Babu film. Despite a sluggish start, HanuMan gained momentum. It raked in Rs 14.25 crore on Saturday, with a cumulative domestic collection standing at Rs 114.10 crore.

Pakistani star Mahira Khan has reacted to an incident in Quetta, Pakistan, when an object was thrown at her while she was on stage. The actor posted a long note on her Instagram a day after the incident, which occurred on Thursday. The video showed how Mahira, after realising what happened, exclaiming, “Oh! Yeh toh galat hogaya na.” The host is then seen announcing on the mic for the security to make sure there’s no such incident again.

The artist took to Twitter to share a picture of Nandighosa Ratha, which is 43.2 ft long and 35 ft wide, alongside a caption, “On the occasion of Ratha Yatra, we have created the biggest 3D sand art chariot of Lord Jagannath’s Nandighosa Ratha of 43.2 ft long and 35 ft wide at Puri beach in Odisha.
