The duo – Md Ashfaq and Md Arshad Ali – were booked under sections 332, 188, 269, 270, 271 of IPC and section 3 of the Epidemic Disease Act, 1897 and section 4 of Telangana Medicare Service Person and Medicare Service Institution Act, 2008. The duo was produced before the magistrate and remanded in judicial custody, said the police.Proceeds from the issue would be used towards funding prepayment or repayment, in part, of certain borrowings availed by our subsidiaries amounting to Rs 2,441 crore, and funding company’s organic and inorganic growth initiatives amounting to Rs 2,900 crore, and balance towards general corporate purpose, it added.
