While Dijo Jose Antony’s Nivin Pauly-starrer Malayalee From India doesn’t fit the typical mould of such jingoistic films, it serves as a prime illustration of why filmmakers should stop relying on such substanceless tales, that celebrate the Indian/Malayalee identity, when they don’t have anything else worth turning into a movie.
