The Karnataka High Court recently stayed an FIR against Shimoga BJP MP Raghavendra for alleged speech violating the MCC, while a case against Nippani MLA Shashikala Jolle for alleged bribery during the assembly elections last year was quashed. The cases were heard by a bench consisting of Justice Krishna Dixit. Raghavendra’s case was heard on Thursday, while the case against Jolle was quashed on April 5.
