State Bank of India (SBI) users across the country might lose their access to the internet banking facility if they do not have their mobile number registered with their respective bank accounts. The deadline to get their mobile phones registered is November 30. The bank will suspend the facility with immediate effect from December 1. However, the bank account will still remain operational.

During a review meeting, the Chief Minister lamented that the TSRTC could not recover from losses due to Covid-19 and hike in prices of petrol and diesel, even though strong measures were initiated two years ago to put the corporation back on track. He assured that the government would support the corporation by making all necessary efforts, according to a press statement from the CMO.
