The Tokyo Stock Exchange banks index fell more than 5%, setting it on course for its steepest drop in nearly six months. Banks shares in Singapore and Australia fell. Hong Kong shares in HSBC and Standard Chartered dropped more than 5%.The shares which are to be allocated for the qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) was subscribed 2.70 times, while those of non institutional investors was subscribed 1.03 times and that of retail individual investors (RIIs) was subscribed 2.29 times, the data showed.
