Director Rawson Marshall Thurber, who helmed the first film, is expected to return for the sequels, which are eyeing an early 2023 start date. He has started writing. Thurber had previously hinted at a back-to-back production for the sequels in an interview to The Hollywood Reporter, calling it the ‘responsible thing to do’. He’d said, “It’s such a big production, and if you can mount it one time, it will be better for everyone. Including for my mental health.”

The rupee declined by 9 paise to 83.18 against the US dollar in early trade on Thursday due to a firm greenback in the overseas markets.

Google has removed all 59 Chinese apps that the Indian government banned earlier this week stating privacy concerns. The apps are all taken down from App store as well. On removing the apps Google spokesperson said, “While we continue to review the interim orders from the Government of India, we have notified the affected developers and have temporarily blocked access to the apps that remained available on the Play Store in India.”
