The Mumbai Police on Monday booked Punjab and Maharashtra Cooperative (PMC) Bank and Housing Development Infrastructure Ltd (HDIL) officials after the bank allegedly violated RBI norms by extending loans to the latter beyond permissible limits. An SIT has been constituted to probe the matter and the losses have been pegged at Rs 4,355 crore, news agency PTI reported.

They will also receive complaints from people and resolve them, a note from the minister’s office said.
