Lack of rain, heating up of soil and incursion of hot winds from Gujarat are supposed to result in the heat. IMD had warned of further rise in the temperature and asked people to avoid stepping out between 11.30 am and 4.30 pm.“I am not very happy with this victory… There are 20 such seats where we lost elections by a margin of below 5,000 votes. If extra work would have been done by the Page Pramukh committee then we would definitely have won 20 seats and our grand total would have reached 172 seats,” he said, while asking party workers to take lessons from it.
