Currently, when you archive an individual or group chat in WhatsApp, the service hides it in the archive section, so that the chats are not visible on the top of the messaging app. However, when a new message arrives, the archived chat automatically shows up on the top of the screen, which is quite annoying. With the new Read Later feature, WhatsApp aims to eliminate these interruptions.

The app has currently been made available in select countries, which include Brazil, Germany, Indonesia, India, Mexico, the UK and the US. It will be rolling out to more countries in the coming weeks.

A tweet by developer Jane Manchun Wong has put out screenshots of the new Android app for Snapchat. According to another report on XDADevelopers, the Snapchat Alpha app on Android comes with a simpler settings menu, and the Stories menu will remind users of how it appears on Instagram.  Wong’s tweet also points out that the app is smoother than the older one.
