The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Monday issued a forecast for thunderstorms or light to moderate rain over parts of Telangana for three days starting Wednesday. The Hyderabad centre of the IMD in its bulletin also warned of heavy rain over isolated parts of northern Telangana districts Friday. This would be the season’s first pre-monsoon showers before the summer temperatures start to peak. It also warned of hailstorms in some districts Thursday.
