The Delhi High Court Monday dismissed a man’s plea against a trial court order denying him bail in an Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) case pertaining to the serial bomb blasts that took place in the national capital on September 13, 2008.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu on Saturday penned a note talking about how women are easily judged for the dress they wear, the race they belong to or even their skin tone. She asked people to focus on “bettering” themselves instead of passing remarks about women based on their hemlines and necklines.

While discussing his years-long treatment, the actor said he started with “scans every six months” in 2015, before escalating to every year, and eventually, he was “fine for five years.” Then, while back in Sweden in 2020, he said he had acid reflux and went in for a check-up. “I did an MRI, and they found that there were a few more tumors around that area,” he explained.

He added that it does not make sense. “It’s not logical as well if a counter of a grocery store looks bigger than the counter of a person who is providing employment to ten people and running a huge theatre.” Nani emphasised that the audience should not be insulted. “Imagine, if I was in a school and was told that I am incapable of spending big money and was asked to pay only Rs 10; but not Rs 100 like all other students for a picnic plan. It’s nothing but an insult to me,” he added.
