The platform is called the Real World Platform and is the same one that the company makes use off in its Pokemon Go video game. Niantic claims that it has been constantly working towards improving this so-called Real World Platform, to showcase the improvements, the company has released a demo video where it shows a new technique called occlusion.

The software on this will be similar to the Samsung’s Gear VR headset, which is also powered by the Oculus experience and it will have apps like Hulu, Netflix, and HBO. But the key difference with the Gear VR is that the Oculus Go will have its own display and computing, unlike the former, which requires a smartphone to be inserted inside the headset to power the experience. Facebook had earlier said the headset would include its own integrated audio and display experience.The new Nest Audio is made from recycled material and the exterior is all cloth. The design of the Nest Audio reminds of the Google Home Max, except the new smart speaker is smaller in size. It has four lights on the front, a mute switch on the back for the microphone, a DC power port, and a rubber foot on the bottom. The top half of the speaker is touch-sensitive. All you need is to tap the center to play/pause the music. It will also come in four colour options Sage, Chalk, Sand, Sky and Charcoal.
