41 Ahmedabad schools get bomb threats day before polling; ‘hoax’, say police

डावा व उजवाAccording to unconfirmed reports, at least eight persons across the state were killed in separate incidents owing to heavy rain on Thursday. In Pochampally village of Mahabubabad district, two brothers P Yakaiah and P Srinivas were reportedly swept away in a stream, while one person died of electrocution in Hanumakonda after coming in contact with a live wire. M Venkatesh, 23, from Karimnagar slipped into Sabitham waterfalls and drowned. G Raju of Gopalapur in Hanumakonda was swept away in the waters, while K Savithri, 56, was swept away at Mulkalapalle in Bhadradri Kothagudem district when a group of villagers tried to cross a stream. In Hyderabad, an unidentified body was found floating in the Mir Alam Tank, while In Moranchapalle village, Chintala Bhucchi Reddy and Chintala Jyothi were reportedly swept away.

The Facebook owned messaging application introduced several features for both iPhone and Android users throughout the year. Features such as new group privacy settings, biometric authentication for iPhone, consecutive voice messages feature, WhatsApp Status share to Facebook stories, PiP mode, limits forwards, among others were launched by WhatsApp in 2019. The messaging platform introduced these features with the aim to enhance and improve user experience. WhatsApp is expected to carry forward this aim to the approaching year.
