In India, over 16 million accounts following Indian Instagram influencers are fake.Speaking about Operation Conviction, UP Director General of Police (DGP) Vijaya Kumar said that under the state’s zero-tolerance policy towards crime, strict action has been taken in serious cases since 2017. “In each Commissionerate and district, 20 cases will be included and a speedy probe carried out. After the chargesheet is filed, within three days charges will be framed and within 30 days, trial will be concluded,” the DGP said.
