Microsoft has launched the Surface Book 2, two years after it introduced the original Surface Book. The company says the powerful laptop has been designed and developed for the “creators making the future”. With the Surface Book 2, Microsoft targets the same set of crowd who’d often buy Apple’s MacBook Pro, a “gold standard” among professionals and artists. The Surface Book 2 will be out on November 16 in the US and the base model starts at $1499 (or approx Rs 97,461).

The shares which are to be allocated for the qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) was subscribed 169.65 times, while those of non institutional investors was subscribed a whopping 927.70 times and that of retail individual investors (RIIs) was subscribed 112.81 times, the data showed.

The Hero II – GTX 1060 and Scar II – GTX 1060 will both be priced at Rs 1,39,990 and be made available starting August 30. Whereas the Scar II- GTX 1070 will go on sale starting September 30 priced at Rs 1,79,990.

The 44-player industry logged an assets under management (AUM) of Rs 26.33 lakh crore in October-end, as compared to Rs 27.04 lakh crore by November end, representing a growth of 3 per cent, according to data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India (Amfi).
