The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has charted plans for a daycare centre for senior citizens in Goregaon, in what marks for a first of a kind initiative in the city. The facility is being established within the civic run working women’s hostel in Goregaon, which had become operational earlier this year. While the facility for senior citizens is slated to become operational within the next couple of months, the BMC is also eyeing to establish a children’s daycare centre within the hostel building.
