This event is called ‘planetary conjunction’and the planets can be spotted by their brightness. Venus will be brighter than Mars appearing in dazzling white, while Mars can be seen in a ruby red colour.

Legendary actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan shared photos from his recent meeting with Alfonso Cuarón, a Mexican director who has won three Golden Globes and five Academy Awards. Cuarón, known for directing films such as Roma, Gravity and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban among others, enjoyed his time with Haasan, AR Rahman, Mani Ratnam and others during his visit to Chennai. Actor Siddharth and his fiance Aditi Rao Hydari were also present at the meeting.

The house of veteran painter Jamini Roy at Ballygunge Place in south Kolkata will be turned into India’s first private single-artist museum, announced Mumbai-based art gallery DAG.

A 51-year-old woman who was in a live-in relationship with a transgender person in Bengaluru has been arrested for the latter’s murder which was discovered on May 3.
