Consumer Reports is pulling its recommendation of four Microsoft laptops after one of its surveys found that users were complaining about problems with the devices. WhatsApp beta 2.19.143 for Android brings in a security fix for recently discovered CVE-2019-3568 vulnerability. CVE-2019-3568 is a buffer overflow vulnerability that was found inside of the WhatsApp VOIP stack. This allowed execution of remote codes, which were started by a specially crafted series of SRTCP packets sent to a target phone number. Using this vulnerability attackers could easily install spyware onto a victims phone with just a call.
